Senior Care Relations assists seniors and their families with understanding which care options are available and best for them. We do this by gathering a thorough understanding of your needs and wants and then providing a solution that best serves you and your loved one. If you’re looking for assistance with activities of daily living and a community where you don’t need to worry about maintaining a home or preparing meals, assisted living may be a great option for you. If you have a loved one who has had a cognitive decline and needs additional support, a memory care community may be a better choice to meet your goals. Long-term care or care in your home are other options that could best serve you. We are here to help determine which care options meet your current and future goals and then put you or your loved one in a position to age with grace.

Hello,
My name is Peter Hayes. I am the founder and President of Senior Care Relations. First and foremost, I want to thank you for visiting our website and learning about what we do to serve seniors and their families in the New River Valley, Roanoke Valley and surrounding areas. As a licensed nursing home administrator, I have had the privilege to serve seniors and their families for the last 12 years. I have managed assisted living communities with and without memory care neighborhoods, co-operated nursing homes and worked in other care capacities, such as hospice and home health. Over the years, I have gained knowledge and experience on all the care options that are available for seniors, and I have recognized a need for increased education on such. This is what has led me to open Senior Care Relations. Our mission is to be a resource and advocate for those who are seeking guidance and need assistance in making informed care decisions.
With many care options available for seniors, it can be confusing knowing or determining exactly which type of service would have the greatest impact on your current situation. Senior Care Relations specializes in helping families find the right assisted living community that meets their needs and preferences. We also provide guidance on what other options are available to best serve you. Finding the right senior care community is challenging with so many options available these days. Senior Care Relations will help reduce stress by guiding you through the process to make a decision that best serves you and your family.

We carefully assess your situation, discover your needs, wants and desires and then provide you with the best possible options. Whether it is Independent Living, Assisted Living, Memory Care, Nursing Home or Home Care, we have the experience to help you make an informed decision that best serves you.

If you are looking for placement, we will assist in narrowing down which community or communities best meet your needs, establish tours within those communities, and help you prepare for the tour so you know what to look for and which questions to ask that may have not already been addressed. Once a decision has been made, we will support you through the admission process and help ensure the transition into your new home is smooth, thus promoting a successful care journey.

This service is generally free for our customers. We receive a referral fee from the community.

Advising

Not only do we specialize in finding the right community for seniors, but we also provide guidance on other care options that are available. If you or your loved one needs additional support but are unsure where to go or what to do, start here, and we will guide you. Sometimes resources within your home are the best solution.
